Maribeth Sawchuk is the founder and principal of EnerMatters Advisory, an independent consultancy that helps energy projects succeed by reducing risk through communications, stakeholder engagement, and community trust. With two decades of experience spanning Fortune 100 utilities, renewable developers, and leading investors, she brings both sector fluency and hands-on execution to every engagement.
Throughout her career — including senior roles at Exelon, Électricité de France, BrightNight, and ICF International — Maribeth has guided the rollout of major energy projects, crafted messaging for multibillion-dollar investment campaigns, and supported permitting processes in some of the nation’s most complex regulatory environments.
Through EnerMatters, she works directly with clients while drawing on a trusted network of partners in design, videography, animation, and economics. The result is a nimble, boutique practice that delivers the clarity, credibility, and stakeholder support developers and investors need to move projects from plan to reality.
